Projects 2014

January-May: The Myanmar Project

Remnant Dance artists will be visiting the Andrew Youth Development Centre (AYDC) in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma) at the invitation of Lian Thang, Managing Director and Chairman of Myanmar Vision International and supported by the Australian charity MyKids Inc, which is registered with Global Development Group, Australia.

The project will involve creatively engaging with the stories of orphaned children living at the AYDC and will result in the production of a short contemporary dance film about how we connect with each other on different fronts.
